"This Swimmer Doesn't Exist Yet" Error

After you enter a participants ID into Swimgen you may see an error message saying: "This swimmer has not been created by your supervisor yet. Please check your spelling, and contact your supervisor if you need this swimmer created". This message means that no swimmer with the ID you entered was found in Swimgen. In order to prevent mistakes your supervisor has disabled the creation of new swimmers. For example if a swimmer has the id "vader" and you mistakenly type "vadre" you'll see this message instead of adding the report card under the wrong id. You'll have to ask your supervisor to add the swimmer before you can publish a report card for them.
